Dorset Cricket have organised a Metro Bank Girls Section Networking Event for the workforce of the cricket clubs girls sections, and an Ignite Workshop to support the recruitment of volunteers. These events are being run as part at the Women's Showcase Event and will provide free entry to the whole day.

Metro Bank Girls Section Workforce Networking Event
Where: The Hamworthy Club, Magna Road, Canford Magna, BH21 3AP
When: Friday 31st July 2026 - 11am to 12pm
Cost: FREE
This networking event provides an excellent opportunity for members of the girls' section workforce to connect with volunteers and staff from other clubs, and to share ideas and best practice. As an added benefit, attendance at the networking event also includes free entry to the Showcase Game.

When: Friday 31st July 2026 - 12.15pm to 1pm
Cost: FREE
The Ignite Workshop provides information on the various volunteer roles available in a cricket club and how someone can get involved as a volunteer.
