With the priority window for All Stars and Dynamos Cricket rapidly approaching, please start uploading courses for both May, and the summer holiday period as soon as possible. Please also ensure that your courses are set up to be visible on the search results so that parents and guardians are finding the best location for their children. Here is the ECB guide on how to upload courses.
Each club is required to fully complete their organisation checklist to ensure they're compliant and to make sure courses appear on the public club finder page. Please find guidance below on elements that need to be actioned to be considered compliant.
Stripe Account - ClubSpark uses Stripe's payment processing platform to handle course payments and to pass these funds on to your club. You must have your own merchant account with Stripe for these payments to reach you. So that parents can find and book onto your courses, it's essential that your accounts are correctly setup and linked in the system. Please take the time ahead of the season to check your account here and that there are no red warning signs! If you need any support we have some handy guides to help, search Stripe to find what you need.
Safeguarding - Please note that the 'Safeguarding' section has an optional Play Cricket ID field which will ask you to enter your Play Cricket Club ID (not an individual Play Cricket Player ID). If you don't have a club ID or you are not sure, then please just leave this blank. If you have a Play Cricket Club ID but this is rejected, then it will indicate one of the below reasons:
If your club is registered on the Safe Hands Management System, you will need to click the 'yes' option and then 'submit for approval'. If your club is not on the Safe Hands Management System, then toggle to 'no' and a box will appear which will enable you to upload a safeguarding document for your club. The document required is a safeguarding certificate for a Club Safeguarding Officer (from attendance on the in-person 'Safe Hands Course'). Once uploaded click 'submit for approval' and this will then be approved by your County Board representative prior to your programme start date.
Liability Insurance - The ECB offers insurance to compliant clubs through Howdens for the central club insurance scheme. If your club is insured through Howdens, then just click on the 'yes' button and then 'submit for approval'. If you do not have insurance through Howdens, just toggle to 'no' where a box will appear enabling you to upload a club insurance document. Then click 'submit for approval' and this will then be approved by your county board representative prior to your programme start date.
